What to do When Zyxel Router Stops Responding Post Configuration?

According to our analysis, we came to know that most of the users are facing this problem. So if you are one of them, you need to fix it as soon as possible. The underlying reason might include network congestion, freezing router hardware, and other issues.

But, most of these errors can be resolved by resetting your Zyxel router. The steps are given below.

Fix Configuration Error with Router Reset

So, you need to reset your router and roll it back to its factory condition to troubleshoot the configuration issue. Hence, locate the reset button, which might be present at the backside of the device.

Then turn on your router and take a straightened paper clip or pen to press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.

Don’t release the button but, unplug the power supply from the router at the very same moment. Keep holding the button for another 30 seconds after plugging the device off. Now turn on the device and continue holding the button for another 30 seconds.

Now release the button and wait for the device to start up. This entire operation is known as the 30-30-30 reset procedure. We hope that this operation will solve the situation when your router is not responding after configuration.

Note: The time spans given above are very crucial when it comes to applying the 30-30-30 reset technique. If you somehow don’t follow the exact time span, then your router might malfunction. So we advise you to maintain the time span when you reset the Zyxel router.
